A complementary way of teaching and learning

We developed the VR software CYBER-CLASSROOM by means of the Virtual Reality (VR) technology that is used in research and in the industry. Thanks to this state-of-the-art VR learning method, in addition to traditional ways of teaching, teachers can make their students understand complex matters with immersive and interactive VR teaching modules. This kind of knowledge transfer helps the students to understand three dimensional learning contents and gives new incentives to take a closer look at study material. Real time immersive and interactive knowledge transfer

There is a whole range of topics and procedures that clearly benefit from a three dimensional presentation: How does the ear work? How does a heart work? How do magnetic fields look like? Or electric fields? How is a human cell built up? How does the DNA helix look like? Where does a straight line in a space cut a plane?

All those questions can be answered much easier if one can actually visualize the structures three dimensionally. Moreover, in reality the visualization of certain procedures is often impossible, however not so in the virtual world. Thanks to computers we can visualize how (usually invisible) sound waves meet the ear-drum and how their movement is then transmitted via the hammer, anvil and stirrup to the cochlea where it results into nerve impulses that are directly sent to the primary auditory cortex. Thanks to our Cyber-Classroom this information can be understood and remembered more easily.

Well-known scientists from all over the world examine and research this topic and explain the 3D stereo effect. Companies commission 3D studies to identify and present advantages and added values.

Best practices obtained by school lessons, university classes as well as vocational training sessions offer essential experiences that show how best to use VR learning media.

Special emphasis should be placed on the VR learning softwares created by all relevant partners and users as well as their all-in-one solutions. That is how users identify with this state-of-the-art learning method early on, creating a committed cooperation so valuable for the innovation process.
